This week, I am going to camp at the Humane Society. I get to pick a buddy animal at the shelter. My favorite dog is Chica. She is a black lab and she's 10 years old. My sisters like Leon the chihuahua puppy better.
I got to see all of the animals at the shelter. I also got to see where the pocket pets stay. (Pocket pets are only $10 to adopt.) I also saw the hospital where they do surgery on the animals.

About Labrador Retrievers
A few facts about our pet of the week: They are good swimmers. They are good with children. They can be yellow, black, white, or brown. The Labrador Retrievers need lots of exercise. An adult male Labrador Retriever will weigh between 65 and 80 pounds. An adult female Labrador Retriever will weigh between 55 and 70 pounds.
