This week, I am going to camp at the Humane Society. I get to pick a buddy animal at the shelter. My favorite dog is Chica. She is a black lab and she's 10 years old. My sisters like Leon the chihuahua puppy better.
I got to see all of the animals at the shelter. I also got to see where the pocket pets stay. (Pocket pets are only $10 to adopt.) I also saw the hospital where they do surgery on the animals.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad to read that you participated in Camp Kindness! I used to volunteer at the Humane Society every Thursday morning for 1 1/2 years. I was a Cat Cleaner. We used to get all kinds of kids coming in to play with the cats. They animals just love the attention and you are helping them so much by volunteering your time. WAY TO GO!
